How sharper than a serpent's tooth it is to have a thankless SCOTUS nominee. Trump must feel let down that his three Supreme Court nominees didn't decide in his favor and protect the records that he's been fighting to hide from scrutiny.

WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court on Wednesday refused a request from former President Donald J. Trump to block the release of White House records concerning the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Only Justice Clarence Thomas noted a dissent.

A special House committee investigating the attack sought the records from the National Archives, which gave both President Biden and Mr. Trump the opportunity to object.

Mr. Trump invoked executive privilege, a doctrine meant to protect the confidentiality of presidential communications, over some of the documents.

The lone dissent came from Clarence Thomas. His wife is a noted MAGA supporter. He probably should have recused himself.

    Good enough.

Trump had to assert Separation of Powers. The Court had to settle this. It has.

My guess is that, when the dust settles, Trump will comply...and that all the things the TDSers think will be revealed won't be there.

But, this is all the Dems have. They can't achieve their legislative goals, for sure.

The Democrats have achieved their legislative goals. Not all of them but many including the infrastructure bill.
